• Fontaines D.C. – Televised Mind

• Daoirí Farrell – The Lockdown
This single by Dublin folk singer Daoirí Farrell was recorded at home during the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown as a result of the success of his living room digital concerts. The single features an a cappella version of ‘The Parting Glass’ and a recording of ‘When the Breakers Go Back Fulltime’. Purchase the single on Bandcamp.

• Staff Only – Slideshow

• Cinder Well – Wandering Boy
Amelia Baker, who performs as Cinder Well, is an American singer-songwriter, based in Clare and writes music inspired by Irish and American folk music and the connections between the two. • Silverbacks – Up the Nurses
After launching singles ‘Drool’ and ‘Muted Gold’ earlier this year, indie band Silverbacks have released new single ‘Up the Nurses’ ahead of their debut album Fad, out on 17 July. Purchase the single and pre-order the album on Bandcamp.

• Thumper – Topher Grace
Dublin rock-pop band Thumper’s new single ‘Topher Grace’, on Reckless records, is their second release of the year, following ‘Ad Nauseam’ in February. Purchase the track on Bandcamp.

• Ailbhe Reddy – Time Difference
A personal and poignant tale of a break up, ‘Time Difference’ is the new single by singer-songwriter Ailbhe Reddy. Released via her own label, Friends of the Family, the track will feature on her upcoming debut album. Purchase the single here.

• Caimin Gilmore – String Ogham Live
Double bass-player Caimin Gilmore commissioned composers Linda Buckley, Benedict Schlepper-Connolly, Sam Perkin and Nick Roth to each write a new work for double bass which he performed on his new EP String Ogham Live. Accompanying the EP is a series of live performances and interviews on Gilmore’s YouTube channel.
