What is the Creative Ireland Programme?

Creative Ireland is the Government’s Legacy Programme for Ireland 2016 – a five-year initiative, from 2017 to 2022, which places creativity at the centre of public policy.

 

What is the Louth Creative Ireland Community Grant Fund?

The Louth Creative Ireland Community Grant Fund will provide support to local and community event organisers in the research, planning and delivery of creative projects that have the capacity to develop into the future.

 

For this grant fund we are focusing on 2 pillars:

 

- Enabling the creative potential of every child

- Enabling creativity in every community

 

There are two types of grant assistance available:

 

- Up to €500 for projects in development for 2020.

- Between €3000 - €5000 is available for projects that can be completed and delivered by 31 Dec 2019.

INFORMATION SESSION ON APPLICATION PROCESS – FRIDAY 15th FEBRUARY 2019.

As part of this process, to develop and manage an annual Creative Ireland Cultural Communities Fund to support the development of cultural events and activities in local communities across the county, Louth Creative Ireland Team will host an information session / workshop on the application process. The workshop will also explore how communities might work with local artists and creative practitioners in the development and delivery of their chosen projects.

Who: Delivered by Sarah Daly (Creative Spark), Paul Hayes (An Tain Arts Centre) and Collette Farrell (Droichead Arts Centre)

Time: 10:30 – 12:00pm

This session is free to attend but registration is essential. To register for this session, please email  creativeIreland@louthcoco.ie  with Community Grant Fund in subject line, and your name, and the name of the organisation in main body of email by Thursday 14th February.
