Lisa Butterly is from Dundalk. She holds a B.A in Medieval Irish and Celtic studies from The National University of Ireland. She practices contemporary Celtic art, drawing on themes and motifs from the legends of ancient Ireland. Her work incorporates modern techniques and is influenced by Celtic forms and artistic styles originating outside Europe.
