Our presenter Pauline McLynn along with our two resident expert judges will share this journey with you, to both encourage and critique your work. This is a competition, and each week we will move ever closer to declaring that “Painting the Nation” has found Ireland’s Best Amateur Artist.

Please share this email and attached application form with everyone you know. We look forward to hearing from you.
Applications will close mid July.
For Participants

RTÉ is looking for the best amateur painters across the country to take part in this exciting new series that gives aspiring artists a real opportunity to make their mark.
Painting The Nation is open to a mix of painters: maybe you went to art college but ended up in another career; maybe you sell a painting or two but its’ not your main source of income; maybe you just love to paint.
This is a competition to uncover and showcase the best amateur painting talent across the island of Ireland. If painting is your passion and you think you have what it takes, we would like to hear from you.
