Carlingford and Zoe Conway on TG4 2 Sept 2010

This week Féilte is on the Cooley Peninsula in County Louth to visit Carlingford, said to be Ireland’s best preserved medieval village. We’ll be looking at the local economy, especially tourism, meeting locals and visiting Carlingford’s Heritage Centre and sailing club. And we’ll have wonderful music from the hugely accomplished Zoe Conway and her husband, John McIntyre. We’ll also be sampling the famous Carlingford oysters at the award-winning Fitzpatrick’s Bar & Restaurant on the peninsula.
