The Festival of World Cultures, Dun Laoghaire will take place from Friday 23rd to Sunday 25th July. The Festival, now in its 10th year, is Ireland’s largest weekend event, last year attracting over 180,000 people. Taking place throughout Dun Laoghaire town with 70% of the event free to the public the Festival continues to have a strong focus on cultural celebration and social inclusion. For more information on past Festival programmes please go towww.festivalofworldcultures.com.
As in previous years the Festival seeks to represent cultural activity taking place throughout the country in the area of inter-culturalism. If you are involved in a project or are aware of one which you feel would be suitable for inclusion in the Festival programme we would be really delighted to hear about it. We are open to receiving proposals on all art forms from music to dance, theatre, visual arts, voice and street theatre.
