“Songs and Stories”

“Songs and Stories” is an exciting opportunity for groups to develop the arts as a community development tool and to be involved in a structured and supported process of cross-border and cross community networking.  The project will use the media of photography, music and storytelling as a means of exploring the themes of identity, difference, culture and heritage.  It will involve training opportunities for local group leaders in the use of these arts media; cross-border and cross-community contact opportunities; and financial support towards the delivery of a locally based community arts project in the communities selected for involvement.
